Rube Goldberg Machines

Second grade has been busy working on the scientific method and logic and reasoning skills. To apply our knowledge, we created Rube Goldberg Machines. This means we created a series of items that would work together to accomplish a task. Our goal was to ring a bell, but the motion that started our device had to be one meter away from the bell. Students worked hard to create a plan and then build a device. It was fun to hear the bell ring!
