Build a Bridge

What much weight can your bridge hold? Third grade students explored the scientific method by building bridges. Students needed to work together to design and build a bridge that they believed would hold the most weight. Once our bridges were complete, we suspended them between two stools to test the strength. It was exciting to predict how much a bridge could hold and watch and listen for the crash as we exceeded that weight!
